Is it free?
Yes — fully free at launch. We may add paid features later
(offline mode, a deeper sommelier-style explainer for dishes)
but the core translate-the-menu flow will always be free.
How accurate are the translations?
Good — but not perfect. Translations are produced by a
large language model and reviewed by the community. The
original menu text is always shown next to the translation,
so when something looks off you can point at the source
and ask the waiter directly. That's the whole reason
we keep the interlinear pattern.
What if my menu isn't in your library yet?
Then you're the first diner. Snap each page, hit done,
and TableVox reads, translates, and saves it so the next
person to walk in gets an instant menu. The whole library
grows table by table.

What do you do with my data?
The minimum we need to make the app work. Your email is used
to sign in. Your preferred language and allergens stay on
your account so the app can warn you about a dish. Menus
you upload help every diner at that restaurant after you.
